What About The Women in Afghanistan?

The reports from Afghanistan about the fate of the women there aren’t good. Women in Afghanistan are destroying their college diplomas and evidence that they worked, have an education, or anything else that the 12th century barbarians might deem worth stoning them to death. Or gouging their eyes out with a knife after shooting the pregnant woman EIGHT TIMES because she dared to work outside the home.

All of this is documented in this article on The Daily Caller, and many other sources.

Three Taliban insurgent fighters shot 33-year-old Khatera eight times in the upper body as she returned home from work, then gouged her eyes out of their sockets with a knife after she had lost consciousness in October 2020, according to India’s News 18. The victim, a former police personnel, was two months pregnant at the time of the attack.

We westerners decided to try and remake Afghanistan into liberal democracy like our own. And we promised these people that we would protect them from the Taliban so that they could build a modern, liberal country. Now we have abandoned them in the worst way possible. I shouldn’t say we, because I certainly wasn’t part of that decision. While I definitely felt that the US war there had to end, I never believed that it should end with an ignominious retreat, abandoning our allies and our own citizens.

As many as 15,000 Americans remain in Afghanistan after the Taliban’s takeover of the country, Biden administration officials told Senate staffers Tuesday, two aides said.

This is so much worse than Saigon in 1975, it’s not even funny. In 1973, South Vietnam and the US had defeated North Vietnam and the Viet Cong. The Paris Peace Accords were signed on January 22, 1973 and the fighting ended. It wasn’t until the North Vietnamese attacked in 1975, breaking the treaty they had signed 18 months earlier, that South Vietnam and Saigon fell. The one significant comparison in all this? Joe Biden was a US Senator in 1975. As a US Senator, he voted to deny all aid to South Vietnam and abandon our allies there. Something it should have been obvious he would repeat just as soon as he could in 2021.

And the women of Afghanistan are being left to the “tender mercies” of The Taliban by Joe Biden.

We can already see what is happening in this mashup of photos of CNN’s Clarissa Ward taken just a few days apart. It’s not just that she put on a burqa. She’s not wearing any makeup, either. To try and save herself from the evil savages that now control Afghanistan

But really, it’s worse than that. Women in Afghanistan will not be allowed an education, to watch television, to leave home without an escort, to have a job, or anything else we might associate with a normal, free life. They will all become chattel property of men in Afghanistan. They will be tortured and killed for the slightest infraction of the rules. The Taliban has openly stated women will not be allowed jobs or educations. This is the horror that Joe Biden hath wrought.

And this is the woman that was shot and tortured by the Taliban in October, 2020.

Joe Biden is responsible for this. The buck stops at his desk.

This is the same death cult as it has been for 1500 years.
